  • WHAT IS A CERAMIC MICROSPHERE?

Discovered by NASA, a "ceramic microsphere" is an extremely tiny, hollow ceramic ball that improves paint transfer, heat tolerance, and adherence without the harmful effects of lead or mercury additives.  Spheres are incredibly stable and can withstand otherworldly temperatures and pressures.  Up until now, this revolution in coating technology was reserved for submarines, spacecraft and high-tech applications.  Now DependaCoat, LLC Lifetime Architectural Coatings and our manufacturing partners bring these same cutting-edge technologies to the consumer market. Treat your home like a scientific innovation with the high-tech coatings used by major corporations and governments worldwide.

  • AREN’T THERE PLENTY OF COATINGS LIKE DEPENDACOAT?

While other companies do offer spray on coatings; no other product offers our quality blend of ACRYLIC resins, microspheres, and polymers.  Only DependaCoat Lifetime Architectural Coatings guarantee you lasting beauty and uncompromised durability.  YOU WILL NOT PAINT AGAIN.

  • HOW DO I KNOW I CAN TRUST DEPENDACOAT LIFETIME ARCHITECTURAL COATINGS?

All DependaCoat authorized independent dealers are fully licensed and insured. Only trained, certified contractors can apply DependaCoat LAC to meet manufacturer specifications. Your Satisfaction is Guaranteed.

  • HOW LONG HAS DEPENDACOAT BEEN AROUND?

Parts of the DependaCoat LAC technology have been used in commercial and industrial settings for more than 40 years.  But, it took revolutions in acrylic and polymer technology make DependaCoat available to the consumer market.

  • CAN I JUST BUY DEPENDACOAT AND APPLY IT MYSELF?

The short answer is no. Trained technicians apply DependaCpat according to rigid specifications that assure you the long-lasting beauty and protection you expect from our products. Our trusted application technicians are part of our two-decade reputation for quality and excellence.

  • ARE DEPENDACOAT TREATED SURFACES WASHABLE?

Our product stands up to household cleaners, the garden hose, and the pressure washer far better than ordinary paint.  You can even use a bleach and water solution if you like. We can also provide you with touch up resources to handle tougher problems like graffiti.

  • CAN DEPENDACOAT LAC BE APPLIED TO STUCCO, BLOCK, BRICK, ALUMINUM, VINYL?

Yes, DependaCoat can be applied to any paintable surface, even standard vinyl siding and aluminum siding.

  • BUT I HAVE A BRICK HOUSE?

You still have lots of wood trim, railing, columns, and other features that can benefit from DependaCoat, LLC Lifetime Architectural Coatings’ protection and give you a virtually maintenance-free exterior.  You may also choose to coat the brick surfaces to improve the look and durability of your home’s exterior.

  • WON’T DEPENDACOAT BE A THICK, HEAVY ADDITION TO MY SURFACE?

DependaCoat is thicker than everyday paint, but we wouldn’t call it heavy.  DependaCoat has a much higher percentage of solids than ordinary paint. Typically, DependaCoat coating systems dry to 12-14 mils thick. That’s less than .02 inches. A coat of ordinary paint is considerably thinner, and it won’t hold up to time and the elements like DependaCoat. Once applied and cured you can’t tell the difference between DependaCoat and the finest quality paint. The look is identical. The difference is the DependaCoat stays looking new for decades.

  • MY BUILDING HAS SEVERAL COLORS ON SEVERAL SURFACES. CAN YOU DO THAT?

When it comes to color-capabilities, DependaCoat can be custom-tinted to any color you choose.

  • WHAT IF I WANT TO CHANGE THE COLOR OF MY HOUSE IN A FEW YEARS, OR A NEW OWNER HATES MY COLOR CHOICES?

Even though DependaCoat will last a lifetime, our technicians can still mist the surface with a thin coat of new color anytime. Your original coating application will continue to protect the surface, and you’ll have a new color that is often less expensive than a new paint job.
